THIS IS THE DIRT WE TAKE OUT TO REDUCE YOUR OPERATING COSTS
Inside The Centrifuge a twin jet rotor, powered only by engine oil pressure, rotates at speeds up to 6000 rpm. Forces 2000 times greater than gravity are created to literally force dirt and contaminants out of engine oil.
Hard and sharp abrasive metallic particles are removed down to one tenth of a micron in size. Plus the rest of the dirt which cause parts to wear and oil to deteriorate. Engines last longer. Far fewer lube oil drains and full-flow filter changes are needed. Maintenance costs go down. And you get the finest oil cleaning system in the world; a true centrifuge. Because element filters depend on rags or paper fibers for their cleaning action, they can channel through or block completely and leave your engine unprotected. The rotor never contains anything but the dirt it removes from the oil. Centrifugal cleaning action begins immediately and never stops. It keeps your oil clean-even after taking out up to fives times as mush dirt as an ordinary by-pass element filter. Oil additives last longer too.
These small particles, present in engine oil, can catalyze oxidation of the oil.
Hardened agglomerated soot particles cause abrasion in a similar way to other abrasive.
By removing a large proportion of the small particles present in the oil, the centrifuge maintains the quality of the oil and extends its useful life.
This will lead to a substantial reduction in the engine wear rate.
Centrifuge provides the details of the best solution for your requirement.
THIS IS THE DIRT WE TAKE OUT TO REDUCE YOUR OPERATING COSTS
It contains damaging abrasive particles such as iron, copper and sand; plus soot particles which have passed freely through your standard filter. Left in the oil this harmful mixture cause wear on:-Piston rings-Liners-Bearings-Camshafts. And the soot will clog oilways, block element filters, and cause rapid deterioration even of modern oils.
BENEFIT
1. Removes small abrasive particles ignored byfull flow filters
2. Increases engine life.
3. Extended oil drain intervals
4. Cleanable, environmentally friendly waste disposal
5. Has 5-times the dirt-holding capacity oh an element filter.
6. Compact-easy installation, Easy to maintain.
7. Low cost centrifuge.
HOW TO SELECT THE CORRECT CENTRIFUGE
MANN+HUMMEL Centrifuge oil filter can be designed onto the engine or retro-fitted to an existing engine. As with all by-pass oil filters, it requires an oil supply from the pressurised side of the lubrication system and a return connection to the oil reservoir. It is important not to starve the main
engine of its oil supply, and checks should be made to ensure that the pressure system has adequate capacity to support the extra flow taken by the by-pass centrifuge.
In extreme cases, where oil flow from the engine's internal pump is inadequate, centrifuges may be supplied with a separate external pump.
The return should enter the reservoir above the oil level.
The centrifuge should not be mounted at an angle more than 15 degrees from the vertical. Temporary increase due to vehicle movements are not important(The standard centrifuge is designed for operation at 3-7 bar pressure & 50-120 degrees temperature within the viscosity range of 5 to 50 centistokes.)
